Volunteers are at the very heart of the Westgate Parks Project – we cannot achieve all the wonderful things we want to do without your help!

Annalie Weitzel volunteered for the Westgate Parks project during the summer of 2016. Annalie created a fantastic film about why people volunteer and the different volunteering roles available.

We have a fantastic team of volunteers who take part in all kinds of tasks from conservation projects to organising events and assisting with school visits.

Westgate Parks Conservation Volunteers

By volunteering with the Westgate Parks, we hope you will gain:

  • Skills, experience and understanding (For example developing practical conservation skills)
  • New friends :-)
  • Good exercise (More often than not!)
  • A sense of achievement
  • The satisfaction of knowing you are helping improve the Westgate Parks!

If we haven’t tempted you to join already, we also provide tea, coffee and biscuits!
