Scarecrow Trail entries 2017

We would like to invite you to take part in the Westgate Parks Scarecrow Trail on the 7th of October 2017. We are inviting you to get involved and make a Scarecrow to be displayed throughout Canterbury City Council’s beautiful Westgate Parks (Westgate Gardens, Toddler’s Cove, Bingley Island and Tannery Field). The scarecrow Trail is an ideal opportunity to take part in a fun community event and promote your business, school, charity, group etc. We welcome scarecrows made by individuals or families.

On the day of the trail the Friends of Westgate Parks will give out trail sheets (£1 each)  in the Westgate Gardens with a map showing where all the scarecrows are. Votes for the best scarecrow can be cast by members of the public on the day. The Friends of Westgate Parks team will then count up votes at the end of the day and declare the public’s favourite scarecrows.
