Anna Bell- Westgate Parks Development Officer

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Countryside Management

Background: Went to Faversham’s Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, studied for a degree in Countryside Management from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and is a qualified Forest School practitioner. As a Kent County Council education ranger, worked at Canterbury Environmental Education Centre in Broad Oak Road before developing a busy outdoor learning programme at Brockhill Country Park, Hythe.

Interests: Walks in the countryside, horse riding, yoga, bat monitoring and surveying, hedgehogs and an avid supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club.

Lauren Baker- Westgate Parks Development Officer

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Wildlife Conservation

Background: Went to Barton Court Grammar School, studied for a degree in Wildlife Conservation at the University of Kent. Is currently training to become a qualified Level 3 Forest School leader whilst helping Anna carry out many of the events and outdoor learning sessions in the Westgate Parks.

Interests: Wildlife photography, walks with her dogs in the countryside, visiting nature reserves, trying her hand at many different craft activities, red squirrels and supporting Lakeside Hammers Speedway team.
